This year’s theme for the calendar is "From Snow to Sun" - The weather in 2018 will be talked about for years to come - with extremes of snow in the spring to the balmy Mediterranean like temperatures in the summer of 2018.

We decided to use this as our theme of our calendar - as there must be plenty of fantastic images taken throughout these weather conditions - and we're not excluding anything else - so from "Snow to Sunshine - And Everything in-between is welcome".

As always our theme is open to artist interpretation!

The 12 best photographs will appear in our 2019 Calendar. 12 Photos will be selected from all those entered by this year’s guest judge Shane O'Neill - Aspect  Photography from Waterford.  (www.aspectphotography.net)

This year’s guest judge will also choose an overall winner. As well as winning the accolade of "Best Photograph” Prize money of €200 is up for grabs.

Again this year, the final 12 photographs will be uploaded to the Morris Oil Facebook Page where the public will have the decision to choose the "People’s Choice Award”. The Honorary People’s Choice Title will be given to the winner of this Facebook public vote. While this public vote is open the overall winner will be kept secret.

Morris Oil urges all those wishing to enter the competition to read the terms and conditions in full; available online www.morrisoil.ie. Good luck to all and remember the Closing Date is Friday 31st August 2018.
